Love Island alumnus Rachel Finni said she was still bullied by former islanders a year after she joined the show.
The 29-year-old former luxury travel pundit – who had a brief stint on the 2021 series as a bombshell – has been very outspoken about her experience on the TV show since she left.
In April, Rachel even accused “every aspect of the show is controlled by the bosses, including who wins.
Rachel’s time at the mansion is over after she is left without a partner following a reunion.
Since then, she has abandoned fame and amassed a job as a team and sales manager at a London hotel.
However, Rachel exploded on social media after she claimed she was being bullied by Brad McClelland, Jake Cornish, Tyler Cruickshank and Aaron Francis.
The four boys appeared on an Instagram Live last night where they discussed the bomb blasts.
Brad says that Rachel was one of the bombers and all the boys start laughing.
They also read a comment from one fan that read: “Rachel is definitely not a bomb” as all four are said to have laughed.
Brad also said he “didn’t like her” and hinted that he was “using” her to stay in the mansion.
She posted on her Instagram Story last night: “It’s not that the 4 f*** boys in my series put me up a little bit unrelated…
“Not surprising given the background I was raised in. Half thought Beyonce was the only black woman in the world while the other half acted as if they didn’t even have a black woman in their family. his family.”
Rachel added: “The lack of care and respect is obvious. Don’t keep highlighting it. You’re just making yourself look worse than you are.”
In another rant, Rachel said she now “regrets” being on the show.
The star said she considers the experience a “blessing” despite everything that has happened – referring to her experience as a black woman in the series – until the boys comment on her on Instagram.
She continued: “Despite EVERYTHING that has happened up until now, I still consider this experience a blessing. No matter how horrible and manipulated it is, I consider it part of my life. experience because it leads me to great things.
“But let it be TODAYYYY and I actually have people impersonating me and discussing me openly as a joke. I’m COMPLETELY for it and regretting being on the show.
“Why does this deserve to be on a TV show?
“How do practical idiots think it’s okay to openly discuss me like that?
“And not just today. Many, many and many more times.
“TODAY one year later and I’m still publicly bullied/taunted for all to see.
“Honestly, if there’s a stronger statement than ‘f**k you’ understand it and accept it. I’m done.”
Rounding out her post, Rachel continued: “I don’t want an apology. It wouldn’t be authentic. The RIGHT emotion was set in there.
“You can’t apologize when you don’t mean to. You can’t apologize when you don’t care about a person or respect a person.
“All defended themselves by turning off comments before raising their hands to apologize. That says it all.
“There are interviews, videos, quotes on TikToks and a lot of other things from these islanders showing disrespect to me WAY over this.
“It’s all there. It’s not the first time it’s happened. There’s never been an apology, so why now? Is it because it’s my first time reacting..? The impact has been Don’t apologize right now You are feeling affected Don’t apologize because your feelings are affected now You are all selfish.
“I always speak carefully about people because I know the weight words can have.
“Right now I don’t care about anyone involved or how they are feeling. Let’s focus on this LIFE LESSON and learn from it. I won’t say more about this. I just want a life. peace. Please don’t talk about me.”
Kaz Kamwi, Rachel’s friend, released a statement following her closely, defending the star on social media.
She wrote: “I don’t get into much of it in general BUT I really wish people would honestly take a step back and think about how harmful their words and actions can be. We all know the feeling. like, so why would you give up your way of shaming and knocking others down?”
Tagging everyone mentioned in his post, Kaz continued: “Each of you owes Rachel an apology. Publicly and privately.
“What a bunch of clowns. It’s gratuitous and WHY is there kmt.
“You have always been honest with you @rachel.finni, you deserve more respect than this. Queen. Love you and many others too. A bomb in our eyes.”
The Mirror has contacted representatives for Tyler, Aaron, Jake and Brad for comment.
