A former Love Islander has stated that the Islanders rehearsed their speeches with the producers before filming the recording.

Sharing about her own experience on ITV2 in 2020, in the winter series, Shaughna Phillips talked about the long process.

Shaughna went on to say that she believes the heart rate monitoring results have been edited to fit the plot.
