Love Island star Dami Hope says it’s “regrettable” that “wonderful host” Laura Whitmore has announced she’s quitting the popular ITV dating show.

She announced the news of her departure on Instagram on Monday, saying there were elements of the show that “I found very difficult and unchangeable”.
When asked about Whitmore’s departure as presenter, Hope told Cosmopolitan UK: “Honestly, I really feel like Laura Whitmore really repressed it.
“She did a wonderful job.
“She nailed it perfectly, and I think she’s a great host. So it’s a pity.”
Hope said that Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu would be a suitable replacement for Whitmore as she is a “drama queen”.
The 26-year-old also addressed allegations of bullying by himself and Luca Bish against fellow contestant Tasha Ghouri throughout the series, saying he was “really sorry” for his actions. .
