Love Island: Gemma takes part in the “Sex Sea” challenge

Love Island fans took to social media to offer their opinions after Friday night’s sexy dance challenge.

The girls took turns dancing in a swimming pool, around a pole and choosing which man was their “catch of the day”.

It was then up to the guys to decide who they thought was the sexiest dancer and who won the challenge.

But when it came to Gemma Owen – who at 19 is the youngest contestant on this year’s show – some viewers complained they were uncomfortable watching her.

One tweeted: “Pls Gemma in today’s challenge made me so uncomfortable she’s 19!!!”

“Gemma should have sat that challenge #LoveIsland,” said another.

“Producers probably told Gemma to quiet down for this challenge because of her age #LoveIsland,” chipped in a third.

A fourth wrote: “Seeing Gemma on a show like this makes me so uncomfortable because she’s 2 years younger than me and it’s so weird…I still think it should be 21+.”

“Lol Gemma is a baby lol I knew we wouldn’t really see much of the #LoveIsland assignment,” commented a fifth.

But others praised the teenager, who is currently linked to Luca Bish, for smacking the fishmonger with a fish.

“Gemma hits Luca with a fish maybe she got some points with me there #LoveIsland,” wrote one fan.

“Gemma is actually an icon, making Luca get on all fours and smack the fish on his butt. Our DOM queen. I LOVE HER!!!! #LoveIsland,” tweeted another.

“LOOOOOOL you know what Gemma just got a point from me for that move #LoveIsland,” said a third.

While Luca appeared to be having an insane time, he later commented on the spanking at the beach shack.

“Listen, this will be the first and last time that Gemma will bend me over and hit me in the pollocks with a fish, you know what I mean,” he said, laughing.

Although Luca seems to be in love with Gemma, new girl Danica could be on the verge of thwarting the plans.

Entering the villa on Friday night, the dancer told the girls her usual type was Luca or Jacques.

Luca was then heard saying he wanted to “rip Danica’s clothes off” later in the show, suggesting the feeling might be mutual.

Viewers will have to wait until Sunday night to see which boy Danica will date. She is the first of the girls to choose a boy in a surprise mating.

So are Gemma and Luca staying together? Or will Danica steal it?
