Love Island’s Katie Salmon reveals she’s six months pregnant with her first child after her Christmas engagement

LOVE Island star Katie Salmon has revealed that she is six months pregnant with her first child with fiancé Harry.

Katie, 26, posted on Instagram a sweet video detailing how her pregnancy “was long gone, just weeks after she revealed that she and her daughter-in-law were engaged over Christmas .

The footage shows the star visiting the doctor for an initial photo shoot, where the camera can be zoomed in and out showing the baby’s heartbeat.

The clips, linked to Ed Sheeran’s Small Bump song playing overhead, also show Katie’s mother reacting to the good news.

The emotional video ends with the couple celebrating New Year’s Eve in Thailand, where Harry asks questions on the beach.

“Busy making life,” Katie captioned the video. “First love came, then you. Being pregnant for 6 months is our greatest happiness.

“I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while, but my little bump is getting harder and harder to hide now.

“We love you so much baby and can’t wait to see you. I couldn’t have made this journey with anyone other than my best friend.”

Katie ended the post by signing: “2022, my favorite year. This year, I married my love and we became a family.”

Fans and friends immediately flooded the comment section congratulating the couple and poured on the news of having a baby in a series of messages.

Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan wrote: “You’re beautiful, congratulations,” while Olivia Bowen joked: “BABE. So happy for you.”

Fellow Love Island star Jessica Hayes commented with a heart emoji: “Honey, this is awesome, congrats.”

It comes days after Katie announced she was engaged with a series of sweet Christmas Day snaps with Harry.

A friend captured the moment her lover, Harry, knelt on a beach in Thailand and in another split second Katie, 26 years old, grabbed her giant diamond ring.

She wrote: “HE ASKED ME TO MAKE HIM WIFE. My best friend, my twin flame, The Love of my life asked me to marry him and make me the happiest girl in the world. alive!

“My darling, we’ve been through so much together and built so much, I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you and embrace marriage forever.

“I love you so much I have no other words to say! Best Christmas. YES YES YES”

A host of Love Island stars flocked to congratulate the couple, including Gabby Allen, who wrote: “HAPPY YOU!!!”

Katie best known for its association with late Sophie Gradon on Love Island.

Sophie tragically passed away two years after starring in the ITV2 show after taking her own life.

She was originally associated with Tom Powell but he dropped the series when his old Emma entered the mansion and caused tension between him and Sophie.

Katie later chose to reunite with Sophie, but the producers wouldn’t allow them to be “official” even though they were dating and kissing.

However, Sophie later dumped Katie and left Love Island to be with Tom once more outside.

They parted and she continued with Aaron Armstrong – who also took his life just weeks after her untimely death.
