Love Island’s Millie Court reveals why she and Liam Reardon broke up

Millie Court has put an end to the speculation surrounding her shocking split from Liam Reardon as she insists no one cheated and that they made the decision because the relationship “no longer works for them”.

The winners of he Love Island 2021 announced their split earlier this month, calling it a “tough decision” but adding that they were “ready for new chapters”.

Fans questioned whether Reardon was being unfaithful as the pair nearly broke up on the dating show last year after he kissed bombshell Lillie Haynes on Casa Amor.

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, Court said: “It’s not true. Because of Casa Amor, people say: ‘Obviously Liam got scammed again’, and it’s not.

“Nothing happened to us (break up). No one cheats. It was just a decision we made because it wasn’t right for us.

She added that she wanted to “support Liam and back him up” because he was “not a bad person”.

The former Asos admin revealed that they are still “getting along really, really well and laughing together” and hope they can remain friends.

After winning the show’s seventh series, the couple lived with her mother for three months before buying an apartment in Essex.

She admitted that she was “obviously not totally fine” after the breakup but added: “I’m the best Millie I can be and I’m going through something that’s not going very well.
