Love Island’s Paige Thorne returns to work as an ambulance

Paige Thorne is set to return to her role as an NHS health worker after her stint on the hit reality show Love Island, saying: “I really just love my job.”

The 24-year-old appeared on the talk show Lorraine on Friday alongside fellow countryman Adam Collard, before confirming they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

The couple who were nearly eliminated in this year’s Love Island final after the blockbuster Collard returned to the mansion as contestants in 2018.

Speaking to host Ranvir Singh, Thorne joked: “We haven’t dropped the L bomb yet. He wants to, but you know. “

When asked about what’s next for her, she said: “I also have a meeting to get back to medical work, so that will be interesting.

“I actually saw an ambulance with sirens the day before. I’ve taken Fomo seriously (fear of missing out).

“I like to ‘get my ambulance back’ so I’ll go back to that for a bit and just see what opportunities come from there.

“It’s one of those things, I really love my job, so why wouldn’t I want to go back to it? I really like it but I will do other things with it. “

The pair also talked about split rumors after they left Love Island, which saw Paige return to Swansea and Adam return to Newcastle.

Thorne said: “My mother would be very upset if I didn’t come home and Adam was in the doghouse even more.”

Speaking of Adam winning over her mother, Paige added: “She’s completely in love with him now. It took all of two minutes when he got to Swansea and she was just as obsessed as the rest of the family.
