Lucky lotto player wins life-changing prize worth over €125,000 as public urged to verify tickets

CELEBRATIONS take place tonight after one lucky Irish Lotto player won a life-changing prize of over €125,000.

Lottery bosses have urged players to check their tickets carefully after winning the match 5 + bonus prize worth a whopping €125,286.

The jackpot prize of €2,000,000 was not claimed in tonight’s drawing.

However, a total of 14 players were able to win the Match 5 prize of €1,535.

The National Lottery winning numbers were as follows:

08, 12, 14, 20, 27, 42 and the bonus number 10.

The main prize of the Lotto Plus 1 draw of EUR 1 million was also not claimed.

But one lucky player managed to win the match 5 + bonus prize of €5,000.

There were also 15 winners of the €500 match 5 prize.

Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers were as follows:

04, 09, 18, 25, 26, 47 and the bonus number 46.

There was no winner of the €250,000 top prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

Likewise, no player has emerged to claim the €2,500 match 5 bonus prize.

However, 16 players won the Match 5 prize of €250.

Lotto Plus 2 winning numbers were as follows:

03, 28, 29, 40, 41, 45 and the bonus number 01.

The news comes after the lucky store that sold a €3,519,138 lottery ticket was unveiled.

Mace at Kilbarrack Shopping Centre, Dublin 5 sold the winning ticket on Friday 20th January.

The winning numbers for the drawing on Saturday January 21st were: 7, 29, 32, 33, 44, 46 and the bonus was 38

Business owner Rhonda Brophy was over the moon when she received the call from the National Lottery after Saturday’s drawing.

She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled! I couldn’t believe it when I got the call. I thought oh my god after all this time in business we actually have a winner.

“It’s just unreal. We must be one of the busiest lottery shops on the north side so it’s about time one of our customers wins!

“We are a locally owned business in the mall. We will be open for 12 years this July and I’ve always wanted one of my customers to win.”

She urged locals to check their tickets and shared how she hopes it’s one of her “regulars.”
