Lucky lotto players win life-changing jackpots of €1M and €250,000 as the public is urged to check tickets

IT’S party time for two lucky lottery players who won life-changing prizes of €1 million and €250,000 in today’s drawing.

Lotto bosses have urged players to carefully review their tickets after the Lotto Plus One and Plus Two draws both found jackpot winners.

The top prize of the Lotto jackpot of €2,759,603 was not claimed in tonight’s drawing.

The match 5 + bonus prize worth a whopping €88,368 was also unclaimed.

However, 20 players managed to match 5 numbers to win a prize worth €1,125.

The winning numbers were: 01, 06, 15, 20, 34, 38 and the bonus number was 39.

Today’s Lotto Plus One has made one lucky player €1 million richer after hitting the jackpot.

Match 5 also saw a dozen winners walk away with €500.

The lotto winning numbers were as follows: 04, 06, 14, 28, 46 and the bonus was 17.

Another player snagged the mouth-watering €250,000 Lotto Plus Two jackpot.

The jackpot ticket was sold in a Dublin shop.

One player also won €2,500 with a Match 5+ bonus while 11 took home another €250 in Match 5.

The winning numbers were: 12, 17, 18, 21, 30, 42 and the bonus number was 33.

In total, over 63,000 players have won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

There were 60 raffle prize winners, each receiving €500.

The lottery number was 5937.

Separately, one lottery winner who walked through Dublin with a million euros in his back pocket before finding a bank to deposit it said: “I’ve never been happier in my life getting rid of money.”

Michael Cosgrave ran a Co Mayo syndicate of 47 retirees that made a famous Daily Millions win in November 2022.

But he told the Irish Sun that instead of getting a check for everyone, he left Lotto HQ with just the ‘big one’ – and more money in his account than he’d ever dreamed of.

He said: “It was actually a bit awkward because we were 47 and I wanted 47 different checks but they only gave me one big one!

“I then had to write out the other 46 myself, which were around 21,276 euros each.

“So we all came to Dublin and I alone left with a €1million check in hand.”
