Made in Chelsea: Ollie and Gareth get a call from surrogate in 2021

Ollie Locke says he still wants to be a father despite tragically losing his twins to a surrogate last year.

The Made In Chelsea star, 34, and husband Gareth revealed the devastating news of the miscarriage when they shared a photo of a tiny bathrobe with Baby Locke Locke embossed on it on Instagram.

Explaining the snap, Ollie explained that “in the course of nature, it stopped growing and was gone after 6 weeks and 2 days.”

However, the star has now revealed that they were in fact two babies who sadly passed away.

First, Ollie broke the happy news that the couple was five weeks pregnant during the Made In Chelsea final.

However, he then revealed: “A couple of weeks later we had to call the producers and say ‘we lost the babies’ – it was two babies – and they asked if we wanted them to cancel the episode.

Ollie continued, “We’re all holding hands. We hope next year will be the year we have the baby we want and deserve and need.”

The couple shared a devastating post

Speaking about how her loss has affected the couple’s relationship, Ollie admitted the experience had “slightly pulled them apart” and revealed they had already spent £100,000 on the surrogacy process.

The TV personality recently appeared on the Boots taboo talk Podcast hosted by Mode Williamsand spoke of the need to be able to access accurate information about the fertility process.

“There is advice out there but sometimes it’s expensive and the last thing you want to do is try to spend £1,000 on a call,” said Ollie.

“We did that at the beginning. There are a lot of people out there trying to make money from it.
