Made in Chelsea: Tiffany Watson opens up about miscarriage

Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson cried while discussing her heartbreaking miscarriage on screen.

The 28-year-old reality TV star was heartbroken to find out she had miscarried at eight weeks, shortly after becoming engaged to boyfriend Cameron McGeehan.

While there are no plans to become pregnant yet, the star is already excited at the prospect of becoming a mother for the first time.

Sadly for Tiffany, during her first ultrasound, she was told the shocking news that the fetus had not yet developed.

The E4 star then had to undergo a failed surgery, before being given home medication to miscarry.

Speaking on Monday night’s episode of Made In Chelsea, Tiffany recalled the traumatic experience with her friend and co-star Olivia Bentley.

“It’s such a huge high but I also feel like I hit a terrible low late last year,” she told her fellow reality TV star.

“So basically late last year I found out I was pregnant, which was a big surprise because we weren’t trying or anything.

“A few weeks after we got engaged when we found out, it was quite a shock.”

Tiffany – who previously dated co-star Sam Thompson – then went on to explain how she only told her loved ones about the tragic loss.

“I hate people feeling sorry for me and I hate people bothering me,” the emotional star said as she explained why she didn’t tell more people.

“It’s nice to hang out with people and not talk about it. But I want to talk about it because it’s such a big thing.

She continued: “Yes, I wasn’t trying. Yeah, it wasn’t the ideal time. But at the same time, I was like, I’m in a committed relationship, which is a no-brainer. expected earlier than we’d like., but that’s ok.

“And then I had really, really bad morning sickness. It was terrible morning sickness. And then one day I woke up and the morning sickness was completely gone.

Tiffany then went on to reveal that she had scheduled an early CT scan “just to make sure everything is fine” and was told the bad news by the doctors.

“I had surgery, and it didn’t work. It was even worse. So then I had to take medicine and it worked,” she recalled on the E4 show.

“I think going through that sucks. Because even though we didn’t try, when you find out, you’ve become very attached to the baby. You’re grieving the loss of something. Something you’ve never really had.”

Tiffany first appeared on Made In Chelsea as Lucy Watson’s younger sister in 2014, and will go on to star in multiple spin-offs starring her and her boyfriend Sam Thompson.

The couple assumed all would be well in 2017 – remaining close friends to this day – and the two have continued their search for love with new life partners.
