Madonna fans had mixed reactions when she promoted her upcoming single with an eerie close-up video of herself.

The 63-year-old pop icon is celebrating more than four decades in the music industry and last month became the first and only artist to top the Dance Club Songs – Billboard chart 50 times.

To celebrate the achievement, she’s releasing two collections: a 50-song collection featuring her favorite remixes of chart-topping hits, and another featuring 16. song.

The latest single includes a remix of the 1992 hit Deeper and Deeper, which is now out.

She posted an 8-second video on her social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and TikTok on Tuesday night (May 31).

In the video, Madonna wears a black Balenciaga jacket, a pair of pastel pink sunglasses, earrings with a bracelet and some necklace – the same outfit she wore while watching the Lightweight Championships. As the sample remix plays in the background, she appears to be taking a selfie before slowly zooming in on her face before moving closer to the lens of her sunglasses.

The caption along the video reads: “I always want to go deeper and deeper ………….” followed by five purple love heart emojis.

The majority of her fans responded positively to the posts, with Brazilian artist Johnny Hooker saying, “This mix is ​​amazing,” followed by four fire emojis.

On Instagram, one person commented: “Getting deeper into botox”, accompanied by a smiling face emoji.

Another wrote: “Intellectual on par with Mrs. Trash. With successful people like you, it’s no surprise that her career lies in ruins.”

However, on TikTok, the comments were less sympathetic to concerns about her erratic behavior.

One user said: “Once a fan, now not so much”, while the second added: “I’m worried for her health.”

Meanwhile, her recent unusual behavior got her banned from Instagram live-streaming after repeatedly breaking the app’s rules with her nude posts, last week.

She shared a video reacting to the decision as she declared: ‘I’ve never worn so many clothes in my life.’

Madonna couldn’t help but be surprised as to why her posts were deleted, but she admitted it could have been a delay in previous NFT videos.

The mother-of-six has teamed up with digital artist, graphic designer and animator Beeple to make three videos of NFTs – also known as non-fungible tokens – not for people weak heart.

Among the clip’s most graphic aspects are close-up shots of her bust, created using scans of the singer.

There is no sign of the videos on her Instagram but she has yet to clarify if those were deleted by herself or the social media platform.
