Magic the Gathering and Fortnite crossover maps are out

WIZARDS of the Coast has released two new sets of Magic the Gathering cards based on the Battle Royale Fortnite.

The cards will be reskins of existing Magic cards, with art based on the popular multiplayer game.

There are two different sets of packs. One based on landmarks and locations and one for spells.

The first set contains the five ‘basic land’ cards, which are the most common cards in Magic; Plains, islands, swamps, mountains and forests.

Each one is redrawn using locations from Fortnite as inspiration.

The other pack contains seven cards based on existing spells but renamed and featuring new flavor text and art.

Wrath of God has been renamed Shrinking Storms. It carries the slogan “Watch the skys”.

Dance of Many has been replaced with Dance Battle featuring several popular Fortnite skins.

Etherium Sculptor becomes “Supply Llama” that tells you “Don’t worry, they want you to smash them”.

Grim Tutor has transformed into “Crack the Vault” which lets players know “You see a lock, I see an invitation”.

Triumph of the Hordes turns into Battle Royale with the saying “I don’t know how I got here, but I’ll be the last one standing”.

The smuggler’s copter is now “Battle Bus” and warns you: “Don’t forget to thank the bus driver.”

Finally, Planar Bridge morphs into “Cube” and “His power levels are off the charts.”

Both sets are only available for the next three days before disappearing forever.

You can grabs her in either regular or slide edition.

A regular set costs £30 ($35), while the foil packs cost a little more at £40 ($48).

There’s also not much time left to complete this week’s Fortnite challenges, each awarding you a tasty 15,000 XP.

From cracking shields to stopping the music at a rave to doing a sweet 360-degree spin while dismounting from a wild animal, there are many challenges to complete.
