It seems that Delgany is picking up where Greystones left off in terms of building new homes. With developments such as Eastmount, One to Nine Priory, Churchlands and Archers Wood coming into operation, the sleepy village is waking up and welcoming hundreds of new residents.
Schools have been built to accommodate the children and pubs and cafes are enjoying the excitement of the additional customers. More and more buyers who have been squeezed out of the Dublin market and who like the idea of living further out of the city are looking to Delgany and clearly like what they see.
The first phase of Littlebrook on Chapel Road started a few weeks ago and the three bed and four bed detached semi-detached houses have already sold out.
Upon completion, the development will consist of 99 homes. Built by Lowick Homes and designed by Eoin J Carroll Architects, the exterior was inspired by the surrounding landscape and has an almost country-house feel, thanks to heritage-colored windows with granite surrounds and buff and red-brick facades.
The solid concrete houses are A-rated and have a high level of insulation and a heat pump system. The kitchens are supplied by Gallagher’s and feature composite quartz countertops with appliances contained within. Three bedroom townhouses and 1,292 square foot townhouses are still available at this stage and are priced at €540,000 to €550,000. The three bedroom semi-detached house has 1,292 m² and is priced between €565,000 and €575,000. The currently largest offer is the detached quadruple room with an area of 1,421 m² and prices between €710,000 and €725,000.
There will be an open viewing in Littlebrook tomorrow between 12pm and 2pm.
Why not make a day out of it as there is also a visit to Archers Wood which is on the outskirts of the village of Delgany.
The latest version of this development in Cairn includes three and four bed houses. They range in size from 1,280 square feet to 1,518 square feet, with prices starting at €540,000 for the triple rooms and €660,000 for the quad rooms.
The exteriors of the houses have been designed with a nod to the area’s handicraft architectural heritage with terracotta roof tiles and oversized bay windows. Inside there is a high quality finish with contemporary fitted wardrobes, heated towel rails in the bathrooms and fully integrated appliances in the kitchen. All houses have the energy class A2 and an air-water heat pump.
The three- and four-bed model homes can be viewed tomorrow and Sunday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. For more information please contact Sherry FitzGerald or Kelly Walsh.
