Maldives is the latest holiday destination to have updated its Covid travel rules and removed pre-travel PCR testing requirements for UK holidaymakers.

Visiting the Maldives’ Luxury resorts with great experiences like underwater rooms and picturesque beaches just a little easier for double Brits.

Under the new regulations that have gone into effect, fully vaccinated travelers no longer need PCR testing before traveling for holidays.
Visitors will need to complete a vaccination course at least 14 days prior to travel to be eligible to participate and will still need to fill out an online form within 48 hours of arrival.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated persons are still required to present a negative PCR test result 96 hours prior to departure and fill out an online travel form prior to their trip.
Of course, the Maldives offers plenty of worthwhile experiences, whether you want to spend the day basking in the sun on white sand beaches, snorkeling along coral reefs teeming with marine life, or simply enjoy the courtesy of luxury hotels found.

It’s not just the Maldives that is reopening to tourists.
In recent weeks, 12 other countries have relaxed their travel rules including hotspots like Greece, France, Portugal and Tunisia, from the removal of pre-travel Covid tests to the end of quarantine rules.
Other countries have used tentative approaches to welcoming back tourists. Thailand offers ‘sandbox’ programs in which vaccinated tourists can travel freely around specific areas, while Vietnam is looking to reopen to tourists who have been vaccinated. vaccination three months earlier than planned.
