A man has died after a horrific double stabbing with one suspect hospitalized with a knife wound and another arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police were called to South Central Ambulance Service in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, where the 44-year-old victim was stabbed last night.
Emergency services treated the man for serious injuries before taking him to Keynes General Hospital, where he later died.
Two men, aged 23 and 40, both from Milton Keynes, were arrested over the horrific incident.
The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his back, and remains in a stable condition.
The 23-year-old is still in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik, confirmed a murder investigation has been launched.
He said: “My thoughts remain with the family at this difficult time and they continue to be supported by our officers.
“We are in the early stages of the investigation; However, we are following some important lines of investigation.
“A large field watch remains at the scene of the incident and will likely remain in place for some time.
“We fully understand that this incident may be of interest to the public, and as such, they are likely to see an increased police presence while the investigation continues.
“If you have any concerns, please speak to one of our officers.”
