A 70-YEAR-OLD man has died in a car accident.
Ambulance services were called to the collision on the A21 at Ebdens Hill, Hastings, around 2pm on Monday 11 July.
Police said the accident, which happened south of Claremont School, involved a Ford Kuga and an Isuzu D-Max.
A 70-year-old man from Chatham, Kent, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His relatives have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officials.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter due to negligent driving.
He was released under investigation while the investigation continues.
Police are also appealing for witnesses to the fatal accident.
