A man has admitted to plotting to steal a number of luxury vehicles including TV presenter Declan Donnelly’s £70,000 Range Rover.
Gan Hart, 30, appeared at Kingston-upon-Thames Court on Friday, where he admitted conspiracy to steal in connection with an alleged car theft operation that took place between January and July last year. .
He also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to burglary involving 11 e-bikes from Velospeed, in Thatcham, Berkshire, between June 14 and June 17, 2021.
Hart appeared at south west London court with several accomplices, speaking only to confirm his name and plead guilty.
He is one of the defendants who sincerely confessed to the crime of car theft.
Other defendants, including Ryan Crafts, 29, from Wokingham, Berkshire, and Charlie Kavanagh, 27, from Ashford, Surrey, pleaded not guilty.
Judge Anne Brown listed their trial date as September 4, 2023.
Those who have pleaded guilty, including Hart, are expected to be sentenced once the trial is over, the court heard.
Police were called to Mr Donnelly’s west London home in the early hours of 6 April 2021.

No vehicles were taken away.
