Man attacked at petrol station in Bexhill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked at a gas station.

A man pulled into the forecourt at Ninfield Road, Bexhill, at around 9.20am on Thursday 21 July to find a lorry parked in front of several petrol pumps.

After asking the driver of the truck if the vehicle could be moved, the man was verbally abused and assaulted, police said.

He had to be treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital.

Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the incident on the Hollier’s Hill forecourt.
