Man charged after three arrests at a rally in Brighton Park

A MAN has been charged with assault and carrying a bladed object after a rally in a Brighton park.

A man originally arrested on suspicion of touching sexual assault has now been charged.

Craig Thomas, 50, of no fixed address, has been charged with assault and dual possession of a bladed object.

He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on October 13.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 20-year-old man on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.

Both were released pending further investigation.
