Man fined for obstructing a train at St Leonards station

A MAN has been fined £2,500 after walking on railway tracks for over an hour.

Jack Prodger, 32, walked onto the tracks at St Leonard’s Warrior Square station on September 11, 2021 and stayed there for 70 minutes, disrupting a train.

Prodger, of York Road, Eastbourne, admitted the offense when he appeared before Hastings Magistrates on 20 July.

He was ordered to pay a total of £2,835 made up of a fine of £2,500, a £250 victim’s fee and £85 in costs.
