Man hospitalized after crash in Dyke Road Brighton

A MAN was taken to hospital yesterday (September 2) after a crash between a bus and a pedestrian in Brighton.

A section of Dyke Road had to be closed for around an hour after the incident in the Imperial Arcade area.

Sussex Police said a 44-year-old man was taken to hospital with “minor injuries”.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called at 6pm on Friday (2 September) to a report of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Dyke Road, Brighton.

“A 44-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Part of Dyke Road was closed for about an hour.”
