My Strange Addiction: The man is sexually involved with his car

What is the key to a happy relationship? For a man named Nathaniel, it’s his car key — because he’s in a relationship with his 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo.

Nathaniel, 37, starred in a 2012 documentary where he spoke about his unusual relationship with his car, which he named Chase.

He said he’s in love with Chase, that the pair communicate telepathically, have sex in numerous positions and even have a favorite song – “Can’t Fight This Feeling” by REO Speedwagon.

Arkansas native Nathaniel had kept his relationship with Chase a secret, but revealed it to his friends, family and the world when the 2012 documentary on Objectophilia was released on TLC.

Nathaniel said it was love at first sight

What do you think of Nathaniel’s relationship? Let us know in the comments…

In the documentary, Nathaniel explained that it was love at first sight when he saw Chase at a car dealership in 2005 and the two hit it off immediately.

They have since developed a romantic relationship and he admitted that things got physical between them at times.

He said: “I have a serious relationship with my car. It was love at first sight. His body and his interior and everything just seemed to fit together. I immediately felt connected.

“I don’t know why I feel this way, but I just know that I absolutely love Chase. We always have a good time together.

The couple has sex in different positions

“…We have our times when things get sexual. What we do most often is, I like to lean over his fender and over his hood and do little things like that and kind of push against him and kind of rub against him.

“One of his bolder positions is that I’m under him. He really likes that. There is really something special about making love to hunt.”

Objectophilia is a term used to describe people who have a strong emotional or sexual relationship with an inanimate object such as the Berlin Wall, a Boeing 747, or in this case, a car.

In the documentary, Nathaniel can be seen stroking the car, sliding under it and kissing the bumper while saying, “I love you baby.”

Things can get hot for the couple

He goes on to explain that his interest in cars started when he was a teenager, but he didn’t think too much about it and had several girlfriends growing up.

But he said he never felt true love until he met Chase, and now the pair are inseparable.

Nathaniel continued, “It really bothers me if he gets dents or scratches. If anything happened to Chase, my heart would stop.

“I think the reason I don’t tell a lot of people is because I don’t know the answer I’m going to get. I always worry about the little bit of disgust someone might have.

“If everyone found out I was worried it might affect my job but I love him to death I wouldn’t trade him for the world.”

Nathaniel’s relationship hasn’t always been well received. The documentary, called My Strange Addiction, was heard by his friend Kim, who described it as “difficult to understand”.

She said, “I’m worried about my boyfriend because it’s not normal.”

Maybe that’s why he kept it a secret from his father, Gary — until he revealed his secret while filming the episode.

Gary then asks, “How does this work? How does sex with a car work?”

Nathaniel replies, “Mostly it’s just a lot of rubbing on him and it includes masturbating as well.”
