Man left with serious injuries after Bognor fight

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a fight broke out near a city garden.

After a report of four men fighting, emergency services were called to the scene near Glamis Street in Bognor.

Paramedics administered first aid to the man, who was then taken to the hospital.

An ambulance was called to the incident but it was later decided the man would be taken to a hospital down the street.

Officers are conducting investigations, with a heightened police presence in the area.

A police spokesman said the fight, which took place around 8.30pm yesterday, is believed to be “an isolated incident which poses no danger to the public”.
