Men in Kenya are allowed to marry multiple wives, and polygamy is widespread among the country’s traditional and Muslim communities

A man about to tie the knot with three identical ones triplet Sisters claim keeping the trio happy is “no big deal”.

Identical Cate, Eve and Mary revealed in an interview in their native Kenya in early April that all three are planning to do so marry Happy Stevo in the near future.

It was Cate who first met Stevo and then introduced him to her two sisters.

The three are reportedly pursuing careers in gospel music, although most Christian groups reject the practice of polygamy and uphold monogamy as an ideal.

Stevo said: “I am a loyal, generous man and everything about me is great, even blessings; that’s why they call me the big man Stevo.

“I tend to believe my love wasn’t meant for a girl and I was born a polygamist and that everyone knows.

“I’m always honest and loyal and my ex-boyfriends left because I told them I wanted to add one more.

“I don’t want to cheat, I might add, and coincidentally, blessings just came my way when I wanted them.”

Stevo revealed the four had been together for half that many months.

He said: “It’s barely two months and we’re living one day at a time.

“We learn from each other, we take our time.”

The triplets revealed they stick to a schedule of which of them will spend the night with Stevo on a specific date.

They also said they had no plans to let anyone else join the herd, saying: “The three of us are enough for him and we will not allow him to bring another.

“So it’s a happy family.”

Stevo denied that having three ladies on the road was hard work, saying: “Why do people doubt that I please three ladies, it’s no big deal.

“So with me only a week, that’s the three of them. Every Monday Mary, Tuesday Cate and Eve Wednesday. Then at the weekend we all get together and have fun.”

The sisters revealed it’s the first time all three have been in a relationship with the same man.

In March 2014, the Kenyan Parliament passed legislation allowing men to marry multiple wives, with the law taking effect on May 1, 2014.

The practice is said to be common among the country’s traditional and Muslim communities.
