A man (40) is in hospital in “critical but stable” condition after a serious road accident earlier this week in Dublin.
The incident happened in Rathcoole on Thursday afternoon, December 8, and investigating Gardaí are asking any witnesses to get in touch.
“Just after 4 a.m., Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a two-vehicle collision between a car and a truck,” a Garda spokesman said.
“The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was taken from the scene to Tallaght Hospital by ambulance. His condition is currently described as critical but stable.”
A technical examination of the scene has since been completed by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardaí appeals to all witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage, including dashcam, who were in the vicinity at the time of the collision are asked to make them available to gardaí’s investigations.
