Man United forced to issue statement after Mason Greenwood was accused of domestic abuse

MANCHESTER United released a statement following allegations against Mason Greenwood.
The star striker, 20, has been accused of domestic abuse in a series of Instagram posts.
The club said it was aware of the images but would not comment further.
The posts, including video and voice memos, have been taken down.
But a statement from Manchester United read: “We are aware of the images and allegations circulating on social media.
“We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established.
“Manchester United does not tolerate any form of violence.”
Greenwood joined the club at the age of six and rose through the academy ranks.
He made his debut in 2019 becoming the youngest goalscorer ever to score for Man U in a European tournament at just 17 years and 353 days in a match against Astana.
