MANCHESTER UNITED has a staggering net spend of £480m over the last ten transfer windows.

The Red Devil spent more than £70m on the likes of Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire, Romelu Lukaku and Jadon Sancho.

Last summer alone, United spent around £126m on players as they looked to close the gap with rivals and defending Premier League champions Manchester City.

But this season has not gone according to plan with United sitting fourth and 19 points behind Man City WITH Cristiano Ronaldo on their team.

City man second only to United in terms of net spend, but when it comes to titles it’s not even close.

Man City have won 9 major trophies since the summer transfer window of 2017 until United’s zero.

No surprise, Paris Saint-Germain ranked third in terms of net spending.

Their figure is 343.62 million pounds in negative.

Last summer, they signed Lionel Messi, Gini Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos for FREE.

AC Milan has the fourth highest net spend, and like United, has little to show for it.

Milan’s last title came in 2016 while their rivals were looking to win successive Serie A titles this term.

Four other Prem clubs made the top 10.

Arsenal find myself fifth, Juventus finished sixth, and won the European Championship Chelsea on Saturday.

Chelsea have spent £9m out of £800m in the last 10 windows, but have raked in £553m from player sales.

Tottenham edge out Barcelona ranked eighth despite the Catalan giants spending the most money in the top 10.

Barca have spent £903m in the last 10 seasons but player sales rank them ninth on the list.

And Aston Villa takes tenth place, with owners willing to spend to support the promotion of European football.
