Man Utd boss Ralf Rangnick rates Spurs win

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte drew a comparison between the Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo and Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo was in top form to help his side beat Conte’s Spurs 3-2 in their match Premier League encounter on Saturday when he scored a stunning hat-trick.

And the performance prompted Conte to compare Man United’s trump card with Messi.

It is considered the legend of the Red Devils Rio Ferdinand opened up about how he thinks his old side will go up without the Portuguese this season – including how they will result so far in Champions League.

And Ralf Rangnick’s first 100 days as manager of Manchester United are compared to those of his predecessors.

Rangnick’s first 100 days

Ralf Rangnick’s first 100 days in charge of Manchester United have been compared to those of his predecessors – and it won’t work out particularly well for the German.

Rangnick took over as caretaker manager after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November and is expected to take up a mentoring role at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

During his time at Old Trafford, Rangnick has seen his side pick up nine wins, eight draws and two losses, scoring 28 goals and conceding 19 in that span.

But it looks like quite a few of his predecessors performed a little better.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand says he “couldn’t agree” with claims that his old side were better off without Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad.

Superstar striker Ronaldo made an emotional return to Old Trafford last summer but things did not go quite as planned as the Red Devils struggled to get results on the pitch.

Some have claimed that United’s struggles have subsided when it comes to integrating Ronaldo into his side, but Ferdinand has countered such claims by saying the club will be eliminated in the Champions League group stage if no feats of strikers.
