Cristiano Ronaldo has made his decision on his future at Manchester United after reports he could leave the club in the summer.

The Portuguese striker has been linked with leaving United just a year after returning to the club following their struggles on the pitch this season. But Ronaldo has now told his team-mates he plans to stay if new manager Erik ten Hag wants him.

It comes as Rio Ferdinand has accused United players of ‘knocking down tools’ against Brighton. And Rangers have outlined their transfer stance of making a summer move to keep Amad after an impressive performance in the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers’ Amad Stance

Rangers are yet to decide whether to keep Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo beyond this season, manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has said.

The forward joined Scotland on loan during the January transfer window and was expected to gain valuable first-team experience with Rangers. But it didn’t quite work out as Amad has only played 239 minutes in the league in five months.

But he did manage to put himself in the top scorers table in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Dundee United – and was promised by Van Bronckhorst he “will get minutes in the final games”. And the Rangers boss has said he has yet to make a decision on who to “bring on board” for next season, leaving the door open for Amad’s return.

Player accused of “knocking down tools”.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has accused the club’s players of “knocking down tools” after Saturday’s 4-0 draw against Brighton.

Goals from Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard secured Graham Potter’s side a resounding victory and ensured United would finish the season with the lowest points of the Premier League era. It’s been a season of struggles on the pitch for United and Ferdinand says he now “can’t fight even as a Man United fan”.

The United icon said his former side were “pumped and sent home” and accused the players of “knocking down tools” in a scathing assessment of the performance.

Ronaldo decides the future

Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to stay at Manchester United this summer if new boss Erik ten Hag wants him.

The United forward has scored 24 goals in 39 games this season despite his side’s struggles. While there have been reports he may seek to leave the club for a second time after the end of the season, sources have claimed he is ready to end his two-year deal at Old Trafford.

And it is claimed that Ronaldo “wants to help bring the club back to the Champions League and try to win a trophy next year”.
