Manchester United have been sent a warning as they consider selling superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
The Portuguese forward returned to Old Trafford last summer but the return home game has so far not gone as expected, with rumors suggesting United could decide to cut their losses. for this striker in the next transfer window.
But his former Juventus teammates warned Ralf Rangnick’s faction against the idea.
It comes as the club’s hunt for a new manager is picking up speed, with director of football John Murtough giving an update on the search.
And Erling Haaland have put United on red alert with hopes heightened that the Reds can secure the signature of the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Haaland puts United on red alert
Erling Haaland has put Manchester United on red alert ahead of his pending summer transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund forward will become one of the most south-facing players in the next transfer window when a £63m release clause comes into effect in his contract.
He has been linked with some of the top clubs across Europe including those like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
But a worrying trend has emerged for the Norwegian this season that could keep the Spanish giants from signing him – and that could be very good news for United.
Hunting management collect speed
Manchester United director of football John Murtough has provided an update on the club’s hunt for their next permanent manager.
The Reds have appointed Ralf Rangnick as interim coach until the summer, when he will take up a consulting role with the club, following the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer early this season.
A number of impressive names have been linked with taking the top job at Old Trafford, such as Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax manager Erik ten Hag.
And Murtough has now shared how the recruitment process is progressing in a quarterly club update.
United send a warning to Ronaldo
Manchester United have been sent a warning about selling Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the summer transfer window.
United fans were thrilled when Ronaldo returned to the club last summer, but their struggles on the pitch have led to accusations from some sections that the Portuguese forward is the part of the problem for Ralf Rangnick’s team.
And as United weigh their options as they consider selling their star forward this summer, former Juventus team-mate Matthijs De Ligt has warned them against doing so.
