New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has already shown his commitment to the project he will be embarking on at Old Trafford.

The Ajax boss is set to take charge at United this summer and will oversee a major makeover of the club’s squad. And he’ll take a step in direct opposition to what Jose Mourinho decided to become United boss – by signing a lease for a luxury flat in the heart of Manchester.

A clip has surfaced showing United players exactly what to expect from their new manager. And one of Ten Hag’s current players at Ajax has begged his manager to take him to Old Trafford.

Ajax player asks for United move

Ajax youngster Brian Brobbey has jokingly asked Erik ten Hag to sign him if he takes over Manchester United.

Brobbey has returned to Ajax on loan from RB Leipzig after his form under Ten Hag impressed the German side enough to sign him. He has since been loaned back to Ajax and even scored his side’s winning goal in Saturday’s 1-0 win over NEC.

And after the game, Brobbey was asked about Ten Hag’s upcoming move – asking his manager to sign him for United.

Ten Hag could be Guardiola’s neighbour

Erik ten Hag has begun his search for a new home in Manchester, with the Ajax boss eyeing a flat on the same block as Man City boss Pep Guardiola.

It comes after former United boss Jose Mourinho famously lived in a hotel during his two-and-a-half-year tenure at Old Trafford. But Ten Hag has already been looking at a luxury apartment as he prepares for his long-term future in the city.

The Manchester United stars have been shown exactly what to expect from new manager Erik ten Hag in a resurfaced clip of him grappling with one of his players.

The Ajax manager orders one of his troops to “shut up” after they failed to heed his tactical orders and fiercely displays the leadership qualities he will bring to Old Trafford. In the clip, Ten Hag yells instructions at Noa Lang as he shows his frustration at the player not “running deep.”

“Noa, you have to run deep! You gotta shut up. You have to listen,” Ten Hag said in a shared clip Reddit. “You just have to do it. No, stop it. It’s our game, not just yours.” And the incident is a clear sign of what United players can expect from their new boss next season.
