Leicester Talking Points
Manchester United put on a lackluster performance as Fred saved a point in their 1-1 draw with Leicester at Old Trafford.
United were missing a cutting edge without star man Cristiano Ronaldo, who was sidelined with illness, which caused problems for Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils fell behind just after the hour mark when Kelechi Iheanacho bent over to head past goalkeeper David de Gea before the hosts equalized within three minutes of going behind when Fred slotted in after Kasper Schmeichel threw a quick shot from Bruno Fernandes saved.
The game, which was brimming with conversation, also left question marks over United’s top-four hopes as they desperately try to salvage something positive from their season.
Rangnick decision slammed

Rangnick was there without his usual center forward option Cristiano Ronaldo but United’s interim manager opted to use it Bruno Fernandes as a makeshift centre-forward for much of the game, rather than playing Rashford in his natural position. And the decision didn’t sit well with club legend Neville, who was very critical of United’s line-up.
Neville said the decision was “pretty incredible” considering Rashford will have been training with United for the past few weeks after failing to make the national team squad ahead of the international break.
Ten Hag makes their first signings
Ajax manager Erik ten Hag wants to bring two players to Old Trafford should he be named Manchester United’s next manager.
The Dutchman was interviewed about the vacancy at the club and could succeed Ralf Rangnick in the summer. And he is reportedly looking to bring in Brazilian winger Antony and Dutch centre-back Jurrien Timber should he get the job with the two players impressing for Ten Hag at current club Ajax.
