Erik ten Hag is getting closer to becoming Manchester United’s next manager after the club reached an agreement in principle with the Ajax boss.
The Dutchman has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with Old Trafford bosses to succeed interim manager Ralf Rangnick, who is set to take up an advisory role at the club. And the details of the final breakthrough that came on Tuesday have now been revealed.
It comes as Cristiano Ronaldo’s role under Ten Hag seems to have become clear. And United are facing backlash in the dressing room over his Paul Pogba contract offer.

Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United have agreed in principle that the Dutchman will become the new manager of the Old Trafford club.
