Neville advises Glazers

Manchester United have struggled to reach the heights under the Glazer family since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

Although the club won the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League over the past nine seasons, there has been little success in tackling a real title challenge. As such Liverpool and Man City have overtaken United in terms of success on the pitch, former defender Gary Neville has laid out a five-point plan to catapult United back to the top.

“You have to put £100m-150m a year into a proper sports project along with those four things and then you can say the Glazer family has reset the culture from above,” Neville told Sky Bet The Overlapping Live Fan Debate.

United talks to Pochettino

Manchester United held another interview for the vacant managerial position.

Long-term target Mauricio Pochettino has been probed for a permanent move into the Old Trafford dugout. The Paris Saint-Germain manager has seen his shares fall slightly this season as he failed to make it into UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals after a playful 0:2 lead real Madrid in the round of 16.

But with the French giants on the verge of winning Ligue 1, Pochettino remains a hot property for those making the decisions at United.
