With a new manager to be appointed soon, Manchester United preparing for a busy few months in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have struggled for consistency this season despite the arrival of Raphael Varane. Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho in the summer. Ralf Rangnick’s mid-season appointment has stabilized the ship somewhat at Old Trafford but he will be pushing for plenty of deals over the summer once he moves into his adviser role.
It’s no secret that a striker is high on United’s summer shopping list. With Edinson Cavani out of contract at the end of the season, Ronaldo heading into the final year of his contract, Mason Greenwood unavailable and Marcus Rashford pondering his future, it’s must-sees for United’s new manager.
the athlete have revealed that the club wants to sign four players at least in the summer: a striker, an attacking midfielder, a defensive midfielder and also a right winger. The news would certainly suggest Sancho is seen as a left-wing attacker and could indicate the club are now preparing for life without Rashford.

Kane is entering the final two years of his contract with Spurs and with that, it could be Daniel Levy’s last chance to land a £100million or more fee for the 28-year-old. The striker has been urged for a move before the start of this season and if Tottenham are not safe Champions League Football for next season – which looks likely – then it wouldn’t come as a huge shock to Kane to do so again.
United’s midfield has been the bane of their troubles for several seasons and both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Rangnick flagged the position as one to invest. The Red Devils were linked with RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara in January but that was reported west ham ‘s Declan Rice remains interesting despite its high price.
The Hammers’ vice-captain has been linked to Chelsea for a number of years, but the Blues’ sanctions mean he won’t be moving to Stamford Bridge any time soon. Rice would be a great investment from United but the Glazers would certainly benefit from the move in the long run given Rice is only 23 years old.
The next few months will certainly be one of speculation for United, although it’s unlikely the club will go ahead with any of their transfer targets until they get the green light from their new manager. Rangnick was reportedly unable to sign any players against his will in January because the powers that be at United were looking to increase the budget they can give their longtime boss over the summer.
