Manchester City’s latest kit has been unveiled on Roblox

MANCHESTER City have unveiled their new kit for this Premier League season via Roblox for the first time.

The online metaverse in Roblox allows players to create their own unique worlds and games.

City uploaded the kit into the game as custom skins, allowing users to see and even wear the new kit in 3D space.

This is the first time a kit reveal has been made via the platform.

The team’s new third jersey is neon yellow with navy blue faded horizontal stripes.

Puma, the shirt’s designer, has dubbed the colors ‘Fizzy Light’ and ‘Paris Night’, and the colors are inspired by the symbol of Manchester, the worker bee.

As discovered by ESPNthe kit was also shot at real Manchester City players Laura Coombs, Kalvin Phillips and Rúben Dias.

The Roblox lobby was also redesigned in the colors of Etihad Stadium in City as part of the event.

Puma intends to continue promoting the new jersey via Roblox.

The brand will host a tournament for Roblox players that will be streamed youtube.

A football rush tournament is held in which teams of five compete against each other.

The company is offering $10,000 (£8,200) worth of Robux to the winning team.

Robux is Roblox’s in-game currency. It can be spent on new items, costumes, and sounds for your character.

Roblox recently announced that it will change the way Robux is spent in-game.

Soon, developers will be able to independently sell the items they design instead of being first licensed and then sold by the company.

In theory, this system should be more creator-friendly and give those who design the items a bigger share of the profits.

In other Metaverse news, VRChat is also hoping to clean up his act.

Used mostly by children, mods have been added to the game that encourage unsavory activities.

The platform added a new simple anti-cheat update that removed all mods from the game, much to the community’s disappointment.
