Mandy Moore has announced that she is expecting her second child, a baby boy, with husband Taylor Goldsmith.

The This Is Us actress, 38, took to Instagram on Friday to share the good news, telling fans she was expecting a baby in the fall.

To make the announcement, Mandy shared a sweet photo of her son Gus wearing a t-shirt labeled ‘Big Brother’.

She wrote on Instagram: “A hugely important chapter in my life has just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to begin…and are we ever grateful and so excited. Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 is coming this fall! The tour will be a little different than I expected but I can’t wait and Gus will be the BEST big brother!! Xo.”

Fans immediately went to the comment section to congratulate the Mandy couple.

One wrote: “Congratulations”, while another fan typed: “Amazing!! Congratulations!!”

Previously, the actress was extremely open about her desire to have children with Taylor.

The couple got married in 2018 after dating for two years.

Mandy’s pregnancy announcement comes 15 months after she welcomed son Gus.

After her son was born, she shared the beautiful meaning behind her son’s name – August.

“Gus is here. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was on time and on time for the due date, making the parents very happy,” Mandy wrote in an announcement post earlier this week.

“We were prepared to love in all new ways, but it was beyond anything we could have imagined.”

The Princess Diaries star went on to detail why she chose the gorgeous name.

Along with a sweet snap of her son’s precious blanket, she wrote: “It was last August when @taylordawesgoldsmith and I found out we had a baby boy (that’s also Taylor’s birth month) and we’ve always loved the name… so it was addressed very early on in our book.

“Then, for our anniversary in November, T gave me this blanket with the letter ‘A’ (for Amanda) made from extra material from my wedding dress and the letter ‘T’ (for Taylor) from his wedding dress).

“Feels like a very fitting mash-up of our entire story. I can’t wait to pass this on to our sweet August someday.”
