All DLC tracks are also available separately and do not require a monthly fee, although you do need the base game to play them.

The eight tracks will be released simultaneously on December 7, 2022.

The two new cups are the Rock Cup, which looks like a porcini mushroom, and the Moon Cup, like the moons from Mario Odyssey.

Here are all the tracks appearing in the third wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 3 – Rock Cup

There are four tracks in Wave 3’s Rock Cup. They are:

  • London loop
  • Boo Lake
  • alpine pass
  • maple tree path

Continuing the theme of the other Waves of DLC, London Loop comes from the free-to-play mobile game Mario Kart Tour.

The next two courses are from handheld Mario Kart games.

Boo Lake is from Mario Kart Super Circuit for the Gameboy Advance, while Alpine Pass is from Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS.

The last track, Maple Treeway, is a fan favorite and started in Mario Kart Wii.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 3 – Moon Cup

There are four tracks in Wave 3’s Moon Cup. They are:

  • Berlin side streets
  • peach orchards
  • happy mountain
  • rainbow road

This cup only contains tracks from mobile and handheld games, so fans might not be that familiar with them.

Both Berlin Byways and Merry Mountains are from Mario Kart Tour.

Peach Gardens is another fan favorite track originally from Mario Kart DS.

The final track is the classic controller smasher Rainbow Road, and this particular version is from Mario Kart 7.
