Mark Labbett has shared his jealousy after his The Chase co-star landed a mega-money deal.
Co-star Anne Hegerty announced her collaboration with Krispy Kreme on Wednesday, but her colleague Chaser Mark can’t help but be jealous after their big deal.
The 63-year-old’s amazing deal comes after Krispy Kreme launched a new puzzle-based donut selection built on the continued success of apps like Wordle.
Fans of the viral app are getting free glazed donuts by cracking clues on social media – and Chaser Anne will be right in the middle.
Taking to Twitter, Anne shared her good news: “Introducing your next puzzle pursuit – Krispy Kremes cryptograms.
“Get ready for the next two weeks with some code cracking and free donuts from Krispy Kreme. It’s easy, crack the crypto and claim a free Original Glazed Donut.”
After seeing Anne’s exciting tweet, it seemed like Mark felt compelled to be honest about his jealousy over their amazing new deal.
“I’m so, so, so, so, so jealous right now,” the beast replied.
Despite his green-eyed envy, Mark’s fans rushed to congratulate him on his incredible weight loss and encouraged him to stay on track with his new healthy lifestyle.
The 56-year-old has lost a whopping tens since the pandemic began.
The ITV star was on a mission to lose weight for years after peaking at 29th – but then Covid struck and it happened without him even realizing.
Mark had been diagnosed with diabetes and a skin condition which meant the skin on his legs was not healing properly.
Then, in early 2020, everything changed for Mark.
The Chase star tested positive for Covid and that was what first helped him kickstart his weight loss journey.
Mark lost his sense of small things and taste for two weeks, which resulted in him eating less than usual.
He has now managed to push himself up to 19th place while standing at 6ft 6 tall.
Back in March 2021, Mark appeared on ITV’s Loose Women where he revealed how he managed to lose 10th place.
At the time, he explained that it was a gradual process in which he downsized “Xs” starting at 5XL, but at that point he figured next time he would buy XL pants.
The star explained that despite a great result, it was only small changes that got him where he is.
He described it as “small things, but important things”.
