Mark Zuckerberg unveils a Matrix-style “metaverse app” where you build entire CITIES for virtual minions

MARK Zuckerberg gives humans the power to rule their own world in the metaverse with the launch of a new VR app.
The matrix and sims-style game is a first glimpse of how the limitless futuristic virtual space could be designed by users.
Although for now it’s still pretty easy.
Cities: VR is one of the latest additions to the growing list of apps for the Meta Quest Headsetwidely regarded as the gateway to the Metaverse.
In it you become a virtual god of your own city looking down from above.
You have the ability to design neighborhoods, construct buildings, and control traffic.
In addition, you have to take care of the economy and the rescue service.
You can even control healthcare and education for your obedient populace.
“Fire and crime due to poor service infrastructures will all be challenges to face as you build your cities,” the developers say.
“Now if you want to flood your town with poop water, it’s up to you…”
The game – developed by Fast Travel Games – is actually a VR adaptation of the city builder Cities: Skylines.
It was announced during Facebook owner Meta’s Bumper Gaming showcase.
During the event, one of the company’s top producers said she expects the Metaverse to be in full swing within five to 10 years.
