Meghan Markle accompanied husband Prince Harry on a trip to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games earlier this year.
And it has emerged that while in the country, Meghan paid a secret visit to take on a role as a guest trainer for an entrepreneurship course for girls.
Meghan visited the Project Fearless initiative in Amsterdam in April, but the trip has only just been made public.
Photos shared by the Dutch non-profit organization on Monday showed Meghan hugging an enthusiastic young participant and also cheering with a hand raised in a team photo with the teenagers.
In another picture, the Duchess sits cross-legged in a discussion circle and stands at a whiteboard.
The Duchess said in a statement released by Archewell, “Safe, supportive spaces like Project Fearless give girls the opportunity to express themselves, build each other up, gain resilience and embrace new challenges.”
Project Fearless aims to give girls and non-binary youth aged 9 to 14 the tools to succeed through extracurricular courses including climate science, skateboarding, kickboxing and entrepreneurship among others.

She announced the Duchess’ visit on the occasion of her third birthday.
It described how former actress Meghan helped students with their business pitches and “enthusiastically” took part in a group exercise on dealing with anxiety.
“Earlier this year, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, attended our first entrepreneurship course as a guest coach,” it said.
“During her visit, she provided the girls with inspirational and encouraging feedback on their sustainable business presentations and enthusiastically participated in a group exercise on managing anxiety.”
Merida Miller, Founder of Project Fearless, said: “The Duchess’ visit was an excellent way to celebrate the impact Project Fearless has made over the past three years by introducing the girls to an approachable role model who makes a difference and makes a difference in their lives voice kicks in.”
The visit comes before Meghan and Harry jet off to the UK with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The couple only attended one of the anniversary events in public and were absent from the others.
And royal expert and author Tina Brown has claimed it must have been difficult for her to watch from the sidelines.
She told ITV’s Lorraine: “It was great that they were able to introduce Lillibet to the Queen. I’m sure everyone wanted that to happen. But it was definitely uncomfortable that they were there but not actually present. It was uncomfortable.”
