Kicking off the celebration week in style, they’ve created a great cake! We can introduce you to exclusive and unique Gastropub Steak and Chips Pie!
Made with two-hour slow-cooked English steaks in a rich ale sauce, topped with a smoky tomato chutney, wrapped in a completely buttery pastry layer – and topped with French fries! First of all, it’s a supermarket, and is guaranteed to blow away any home-cooked dinner!

The The M&S Gastropub brand is the best-selling product line of Marks and Spencer of freshly prepared meals. Made with a delicious combination of cheddar, pecorino and mozzarella cheeses, wrapped in a piece of parsley and served with smoky chipotle – hello! And they’re only £4.
Sticking to the cheese theme, there’s also the delicious Cheese Rarebit and Ham Crumpets, £4. They sound perfect as an appetizer or snack! Think sourdough crumbs hand-finished with Barber mature cheddar cheese and beer-glazed outdoor bred Wiltshire ham.
If you’re catering to any vegetarians at your next dinner party, why not choose the Shiitake Nut and Mushroom Open Cake. It’s an all-butter pastry made in three days to a crispy golden crust, topped with tender radish and topped with miso butter and shredded garlic – and costs £7.
Another first and newest M&S supermarket from the 80s is the French-inspired Chicken Forretier, £10. It’s made with English chicken breast and combines with whole chestnut mushrooms, onion petals and outdoor bred English bacon to create a classic, comforting flavor combination. Served in a creamy white wine sauce, enriched with porcini mushrooms, braised mushrooms, shallots and thyme. You can’t beat a classic, can you?
For those who like a little spice at dinner, why not try the Gastropub Paella, £10. Made from rice braised with saffron, hot peppers and cayenne pepper. Topped with slices of British chicken thighs, seasoned with garlic, lemon, paprika and rosemary. As well as chorizo native to the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees.
