Annual Membership will increase from £79 to £95 per year in the UK.
A spokeswoman for the company said: “Prime offers the best in shopping and entertainment and keeps getting better every year.
“We have increased the number of products available with fast, unlimited Prime Delivery, recently added ultra-fast fresh food delivery and have greatly expanded our high-quality digital entertainment, including TV, movies, music, games and books.
Amazon Prime raises the price.
On September 15th the monthly membership price will increase from £7.99 to £8.99 and the annual membership fee from £79 to £95.
If you’re currently paying monthly and want to keep it, if you can afford to switch to annual now, you’ll get £79 next year.

“With inflation on the rise and running costs continuing to rise in the UK, we will be changing the price Prime.”
However, the Founder of Money Saving Expert had a tip to avoid the price hike at least for now.
In a post on his Twitter, he wrote: “On 15 monthly membership price goes from £7.99 to £8.99 and annual membership from £79 to £95.
“If you’re currently paying monthly and want to keep it, if you can afford to switch to annual now, you’ll get £79 next year.
“If your annual renewal is close to that, try canceling and restarting close to September 15.”
This tip allows customers to avoid the increase for another year until the next renewal.
