The Borussia Dortmund striker is already at the center of quite a transfer frenzy heading towards the upcoming window. Chelsea have long been linked to the 21-year-old while Manchester City appear to be heading towards a big-money summer deal as pep Guardiola wants to step up his attack ahead of the 2022/23 season.
An old photo of Haaland in yellow arsenal shirt from the 2010/11 season as a child sent fans into a frenzy on social media. His international team-mate – and current Arsenal star – Odegaard has now commented on the prospect of the striker competing at the Emirates Stadium in the future.
Speak with Stadium Astro, Odegaard said: “He’s a fun guy, a good guy and he’s a good friend of mine, of course also a great player, so we’ll see what he will do, I don’t know. Of course if he comes to England he has to come with us but I don’t know what he’s going to do but he’s a great guy.
“To be honest we haven’t talked too much about it, I know he has so many people trying to ask him and tell him what to do and I don’t want to do that. He’s a beast, he’s strong, he’s fast, I think he’s got everything I think he can play in any league in any country to be honest.”

Ahead of a potential move this summer, Haaland has had another impressive season at the Westfalenstadion. He has scored a further 25 goals in all competitions for Dortmund this season despite missing large parts of the season through injury.
This form follows seasons in which he had scored 57 goals in his first 18 months in Germany since joining from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg. He has now scored 15 goals in just 17 internationals.
Odegaard’s recent comments aren’t the first hints he’s dropped on his Norwegian team-mate’s future. Speaking of earlier this year, The Arsenal man suggested the couple had spoken about Real Madrid – The Spanish giants have also been linked to a future nosedive.
“We’re good friends so we talk about a lot of things, like when I was there. So yeah, we’ve talked about it, but it’s nothing special,” he said.
Haaland has just over two years left to finalize his contract with Borussia Dortmund and is expected to leave for a reduced fee this summer. A £63million release clause is set to come into effect this summer, according to Bild, but all clubs interested They are reportedly required to express their desire to sign the striker before 04/30
