Martyn Ford has asked his fans to show respect to Iranian boxing rival Hulk.

Ford, who is also known as the World’s Scariest Man, will take on the role of Hulk – whose real name is Sajjad Gharibi – in London on April 2.

The rivals faced off in Dubai on Friday with Hulk attempting to knock before he was shoved to the ground.

Ford is now back in the UK and begs his fans not to “hate hate” his opponent anymore.

“We landed back in the UK, it was one of those crazy days,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’ll say one thing, after meeting Hulk and watching some of his videos in the last 48 hours, YES, we’re going to have a boxing match, BUT I don’t want to see any hate for him. that.

“We’ve both stepped into the pressure cooker. It’s not an environment we’re both familiar with… BUT show some compassion for his feelings, no matter how you feel. Come on… WE ARE HUMANS, WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS.”

It’s not clear which video Ford was also referring to, but his rival posted a related message on his own social media account.

Ford fans were quick to praise the giant heavyweight with a statement: “A man of great attitude, a genuine man to follow.”

Another feared Gharibi put himself in the head by accepting the fight, adding: “You are a generous man. Iran Hulk is too young, I hope you understand that.”

Ford’s clash with Gharibi is the latest celebrity clash and will come just two weeks after the clash of former powerhouse champions Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson in Dubai.
