Marvel’s Avengers will be discontinued in a few months

MARVEL’S Avengers has removed online support after the next update and the game will be withdrawn from sale soon.

The next major update is expected to be released on March 31, 2023, After that the support ends.

The update will not add any new features and instead prepares for the eventual closure of the game.

Update 2.7, released in 2022, was the last update with new content when Winter Soldier and Omega Threat were introduced.

It has been confirmed that any support for Marvel’s Avengers will be further removed September 20, 2023, just three years after the launch of the big-budget license.

Players can still access both single-player and multiplayer, but if there are any issues after that, developer Crystal Dynamics will not fix them.

A number of things will be removed from the game after the March update.

The update will close the Marvel’s Avengers Cosmetics Marketplace and players will not be able to purchase in-game currency after this date.

Along with this closure, however, all the Marketplace, Shipping, and Challenge Map cosmetics are available for free.

Marvel’s Avengers will also be removed for purchase in both retail stores and digital storefronts.

This takes place on September 30, 2023, However, if you previously purchased a copy digitally, you can still download it again.

Used physical copies will continue to work as well and can be purchased from a number of retailers.

Even those who buy used copies have access to the free cosmetics.

Although Marvel’s Avengers carried the Marvel name, they didn’t perform as expected.

Many felt the game was not rewarding enough and too repetitive to encourage players to use microtransactions.

Crystal Dynamics is believed to complete the project to focus on the next game.

The team is working on a new Tomb Raider game in partnership with Amazon.
