MasterChef fans have been dramatizing the show’s changing format as the show returns with a new series

MasterChef viewers were unimpressed with the BBC’s new format, complaining that it was too similar to the Australian and American versions of the show.

MasterChef’s new series is littered with complaints from viewers, all with similar problems.
The 18th series of cooking shows has been criticized for copying Australian and American versions of the show.
Many viewers were upset about how the show had become “in favor of people who want to be on TV”.
One person wrote: “#masterchef oh no they screwed it up like the talk is about Australians.” Lisapollard72 wrote: “Why did you change it? This is not what we asked for #MasterChef.”
Another repeated: “#MasterChef has gone downhill unbelievable. They shouldn’t have known about the recipes. It used to be a show about cooking, now it’s a show about people who want to. was on TV. I don’t know — what they were thinking.”

“#MasterChef really doesn’t like this new format.” Asphalt_World agrees: “Mastechef is finally cracked and all US/Aus gone for us. Sad. #Masterchef.” And PColin321 said: “#Masterchef There’s a lot of conversation between the contestants. I don’t like it.”
Some took issue with the contestants sitting on the stools, with one adding: “What’s with the awkward stool? Going into Westlife mode? #MasterChefUK #MasterChef.”

“What are the rest of the contestants doing on the stools? #MasterChef.” And JasJudge added: “Wasting other contestants’ time just sitting around.. #MasterChefUK #MasterChef,” another said.
But not everyone agrees, with some fans saying they like the new format.
“So excited @MasterChefUK is finally following in the footsteps of @masterchefau with an audition. Australia has had the right for years! #Masterchef #MasterchefUK #MasterchefAustralia.”
One added: “Oh, a format change! #Masterchef #MasterchefUK.”
Before that, Gregg and John will watch the contestants prepare the food and will eat it when it’s at room temperature for authentication.
While now the contestants prepare the food in front of the camera before the other contestants.
The program was relaunched in 2005 and has flourished since then.

Speaking of the change of form, a BBC spokesman said: “The BBC says: ‘Every week for five weeks, nine in-house chefs cook for the judges.
“This year, their first test was an audition round, in which they had to cook their signature dish – one that showed John and Gregg what a chef they were and how good they could be. .
“John and Gregg don’t watch the chefs in the kitchen. Instead, they taste each dish in the new MasterChef Tasting Room.

“Once they’ve tasted all nine dishes, the top three will be awarded a coveted MasterChef apron, securing their spot in the competition.
