Judi Love wins Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off

MasterChef is moving to Birmingham after TV bosses hailed its “amazing” food scene.

All editions of the cooking show, hosted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace, will be performed at a new studio complex in Digbeth from 2024 as part of the show. BBC Across the UK scheme.

Shine TV producer Jon Swain said: “Moving production to one of the country’s most diverse cities will allow us to energize the show.”

Coles said: “I’m absolutely delighted, this is fantastic. I think the parish will want to process the whip around town, where the townspeople will come out and kneel and worship MasterChef’s historic and sacred golden whip. ”

His winning Christmas-themed menu that he created in just two hours and 15 minutes starts with grilled partridge with caramelized pears, cabbage, celeriac, chestnuts, and lard with a bread sauce. , pear gravy and five golden potatoes. Gregg describes the dish as ‘a seriously delicious treat’.

Richard then presented Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh blancmanges covered with honeycomb, pistachios and licorice chips, with John Torode describing them gratifyingly as “Awesome”.

The show’s studios will now be based in Birmingham

Judge Gregg Wallace said: “Pastor Richard Coles worked really hard to put the Christmas story on his plate in a really clever way. It’s an absolutely beautiful job with a dash of fun. Everyone just screams at Christmas.”

John Torode added: “A festive party needs to be fun, it needs to put a smile on your face, it needs to be delicious and Richard did it. It’s smart, ambitious, fun, and delicious. ”

Comedian Judi Love won the previous Celebrity episode beating Oti Mabuse, former footballer Neil Ruddock and Su Pollard for one of two gold trophies to claim this year.
