Matt Lucas and Rebel Wilson’s Unusual Living Arrangement Makes Neighbors Uncomfortable

Humorous guy Matt Lucas, who on the show Who Do You Think You Are?, played a roommate in the hit movie Bridesmaids then made it happen.

Matt Lucas and Rebel Wilson played roommates in a movie – then made it real.
Little Britain funny person who is in tonightWho Do You Think You Are?, was cast as the older brother of the American actress in the 2011 hit comedy Bridesmaids.
This leads people to believe that they may be in a real-life relationship, married, or even the same person.
“We played roommates so well in Bridesmaids, we thought, ‘Yeah, we’re going to make that real,'” Rebel explained on Conan in September 2012 .. “Except rather than bother. Kristen Wiig, we’re currently disturbing all the neighbors nearby.”
They had a great time living together, but perhaps too happy when they received an anonymous letter from a neighbor who Rebel described as “a bit annoying”.
“Dear neighbor, I’m living somewhere behind your back,” she read, confessing that the opening line was “bizarre.”

Nearby residents tried to phone the police if they continued to make noise late into the night – and they came across Matt’s British accent.
Wilson continued: “I’m glad you’re enjoying your new swimming pool and hot tub but I’m trying to sleep. I can hear everything you say, even the British accent. If you keep making noises After 10 p.m., I’ll call the police. We seriously have rules here in West Hollywood.”
Wilson paused to explain that “serious” was underlined, then continued to read: “And don’t sing show tunes from Annie. You’re both too old to play orphans. ‘The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow’ – yeah, and so are the police! “
The letter ends with “welcome to the neighborhood”, but the couple actually didn’t see the message for a week because they didn’t know where the key to the mailbox was.
She joked, “At least we mixed it up a bit. We did Oklahoma!, Little Shop of Horrors, Fiddler on the Roof… the neighbors didn’t like it.”
The couple have been together for three years – but surprisingly, they never put any strain on each other.

Matt told the BBC in September 2015: “We’ve never really been down on anything, even the basics,” Matt told the BBC in September 2015, explaining that she would download dishwasher and I’ll unload it.
Matt said: “I think we didn’t have that, which was a really cool thing for Rebel because we met and we were cast as siblings (in 2011’s Bridesmaids) and people either or think we are brothers and sisters, husband and wife, the same person, or all three.
“But when we met, it was like a total synchronicity, we were both very relaxed and we were pretty professional too and I saw that in her and she saw that in me but we I don’t compete because we just like each other’s work.”
After three glorious years, Rebel moved out after making “the decision to become a huge movie star and buy a house”.
However, the showbiz besties remain “best friends” while Matt splits his time between London and California.
Matt added: “It means she doesn’t sneeze anymore because I think she’s a bit allergic to my dogs, but we had a lot of fun and we’re still best friends. “

The pair have supported each other in public, with Rebel defending her longtime best friend after his show Little Britain was pulled from Netflix because of its blackfaced characters.
Lucas and co-star David Williams have issued an apology after it was revealed the website had canceled the show, along with other streaming services including BBC iPlayer and BritBox.
In an interview on Australian news show Studio 10, the Pitch Perfect star said: “Matt Lucas’s Little Britain has been hooked, which I think is a bit crazy.
“Obviously they played various characters on that show.”
She added of Matt: “We lived together for three years. He was amazing… he was the nicest, kindest human being ever!”

Matt will appear on tonight’s episode of Who Do You Think You Are? – and he made a remarkable discovery while traveling in Amsterdam to learn more about his German-Jewish aunt Margot and his cousins.
He discovered that one of his ancestors lived with Anne Frank’s family and was mentioned in her world famous diary.
Matt is moved to learn that one of his ancestors, Werner Goldschmidt, cousin of Matt’s paternal grandmother, is written about in The Diary of a Young Girl.
Asked if he was surprised to discover Werner was with the Frank family, Matt said: “Yes, my ancestors must have known Anne Frank, the writer of one of the most important books ever. written. And Werner is actually mentioned in the diary.”
“It’s a story that everyone knows if you don’t know the other story, the story of what happened to the Jews during the Second World War, you know the story of the Frank family.
“I read it when I was a kid and never realized she was talking about a relative of mine.”
